Westway has a full size outdoor pitch with grandstand and a brand-new grass-like Tiger Challenger surface... PLUS, five other smaller pitches (three 5-a-sides, one 6-a-side & an 8-a-side), all with state-of-the-art Tiger surfaces. All our pitches are floodlit and feature advanced synthetic “Tiger” surfaces with playing characteristics almost identical to grass. In addition all five smaller pitches are virtually undercover as they are sheltered beneath the Westway flyover.

All pitches are available to every section of our community and can be booked until 10pm weekdays and at least 8pm during weekends. Special rates apply to youth and community groups and schools in the Borough of Kensington & Chelsea.

Westway Sports Centre runs a thriving junior football development programme for boys and girls and hosts a series of adult leagues and tournaments including the Elms 5-a-side leagues.

In addition to a thriving football outreach programme in local schools, Westway Youth Sports Academy (WYSA) sessions for young people run at the Sports Centre every week. These offer professional coaching, special events and competitions and cost £4. There is something for everyone, from beginners upwards – but the emphasis is on fun, action and involvement. Activities include tournament weeks, football coaching, competitions, quizes and much more. These take place during every school holiday - including half-terms. Open to children of all abilities.

5-a-side competitions, leagues and taster days are organised throughout the year, in addition to our regular programme. Keep an eye on this site for details of these events, or check with the Sports Centre staff next time you visit.

Prices are per hour unless specified – all synthetic pitches are available for 90-minute bookings, priced on a pro rata basis.

Demand for pitches is high with over 140 teams a week using our pitches – but we do have slots in available, in particular daytime slots suitable for events and one-off activities.

In addition to the numerous local teams hiring our pitches and the Elms Five-a-Side Leagues at Westway, we also run other activities for adults such as tournaments.
