The Trust's commercial estate provides flexible work-space, let to small to medium-sized local businesses, with many young or start-up creative businesses in units such as those in Acklam Workspace. There are a total of 120 commercial leases, including studios, workshops, offices, shops, restaurants, market space, light industrial premises and yards. Over 800 people are now in jobs where 30 years ago there was just rubble. Effective management of Trust land and properties is central to our strategy.
