Our land lies within the London borough of Kensington & Chelsea, a cosmopolitan multi-ethnic and multi-faith borough. Residents trace origins to all parts of the globe and use over 100 first languages. Extremes of wealth and poverty co-exist. The Index of Multiple Deprivation shows 2 wards (Golborne and St. Charles) in the 10% most deprived in England, whereas several wards are amongst the least deprived.

When the Westway was built, a mile-long strip of land was left waste beneath the flyover. Four years of determined local campaigning led to the Trust being set up.

What we do

The Trust benefits local inhabitants by providing recreation, sport and leisure facilities, developing the capacity and skills of members of socially disadvantaged communities, and through supporting other local charities and involvement in education and the arts. Click here to find out more
